Day off today so tried a few sit and gos. Enjoyed the one I did last night and thought I would try my luck. Played 4 in total, all $5 stakes.
1st: 2nd
2nd: 6th
3rd: 1st
4th: 2nd
Had to rush my last one sadly, my friend came round to go to the pub. They do a tourni there every Wednesday. £5 rebuy. I've played there before and its pretty crazy but tonight was particularly crazy!
Bought in and had 3000 chips. Couple of hands in I'm up to 5000. Open up with KK. Under the gun raises me(very loose player) so I move all in, the guy next to me calls and so does the original raiser. Original Raiser shows 99 (fair enough) other guy shows J9!!! I'm thinking great!
flop comes 568, turn 2, river 7! THEY BOTH MAKE STRAIGHTS! Madness!
Anyway I rebought and topped up at the end of the rebuy period. Total stake £15
Get to the final 3 and the chip leader of all people decides to ask "Shall we split it?" He had about 45,000, 2nd had 40,000 I had 25,000. I was very happy, OBVIOUSLY! So we all end up getting £90 and turned cards for £10 to decided who gets the crown. I didn't but hey, well happy with the deal.
Now I need your advice, Do I put this £90/$180 into my bankroll or not?
Please leave comments to let me know what you think!
Later Guys!

When bad players hit cards!
Had a pretty good day yesterday in work. Ended up getting in at 7.45pm which wasn't to bad. Had a 60Mile round trip and the end of the day! Anyway.... to the Poker!
Sat at a 0.10/0.25 cash game. There was a major fish on the table that hit everything. I told myself not to bluff and I didn't. Waited for a hand to trap him and still lost! I'm BB with Asks, the fish raises to 1.00, I flat call hoping to check/raise the flop. Flop comes Ah 5d 6h, I check (little scared of the flush draw but knew the guy was going to bet) he bets $3 I raise $9, he goes all in $22, I think for a while and call due the the fact hes a complete fish! I'm guessing a flush draw at this point. He shows 8c9d!!!! Turn K river 7!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! Can anyone give me tips on playing this hand differently?
So instead of tilting my brains out (which I was) I watched some TV to calm down. I probably should have sat back down to get it back but I'm pretty sure I would have played like an idiot.
Couple of hours later I decided to play again. Sat at a $5 SnG, 1st one of the challenge! Met some great people, except one! Told someone 2 go F**K themselves! He went out 6th I think which was great! Cashed 3rd and really enjoyed the game! Last 2 players were good !
So got a day off 2day and planning on playing a few more SnG's!
Speak to you soon!

1st Session down and...............
I'm up! Only $6.40 but still not a bad start!
Quite and up and down game to be honest, made it up to $55 and one point but took 2 brutal out draws (both flush draws on the river) but still i have to expect that.
Played for 4hrs 30mins and didn't get bored once! Found it hard to leave to be honest.
For some reason I have re-ignited my passion to play! Last couple of months I've been pretty bored while playing but that session was 100% enjoyable!
So with my 1st profitable session down I hope for plenty more. Work tomorrow until pretty late so wont be on until about 8.00pm GMT. If your online drop me a message to say hi! (royal3pair)
Quick hello to: Zunni Thanks for the Hello!
and also if you like blogs check this one out! Really interesting and a great read!

Genesis
This is the beginning, or the Genesis as I've put it. I'm starting this blog to document my challenge to riches. Ok I know poker isn't a great way of making it but I thought it would be fun to try.
I'm starting with a $250 bankroll on PokerStars.com and will be playing under the name of royal3pair. My challenge is to use bankroll management to try and increase this figure vastly by Christmas.
I'm also a member on TwoPlusTwo forum and would like to thank them on the help they have given me. Today being a bank holiday I plan on putting in a good 4hrs play from about 5:30pm onwards. I've been advised to play 0.10/0.25c cash games to begin. Fingers crossed I can get a good return tonight.
Check back here soon for more updates!
